Part 3 & Part 4:
These two sections are mainly the life of the Apostle Paul, as set out in the book of Acts. When you see the book of Acts as a story, with a beginning and an ending, it is quite easy to see at what point Paul wrote his letters in this unfolding story.
Included in the story are at what point Paul wrote his letters. Coupled with the animated maps of Paul’s missionary trips, this production really does bring the New Testament to life in an amazing way. It also has built in a chronological timeline, so the viewer can experience
what was actually happening in the lives of the first century believers.
To bring this production to a climax, the story line of the history of the Roman Emperors is included, i.e. what Roman Emperor was in power at what time, how they died and who succeeded them. Mentioned are:
Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero and Vespasian.
After Paul’s execution traditionally under Nero, sometime after the great fire of Rome in 64 A.D.,
the story includes the dramatic historic events leading up to the destruction of the 3rd temple and Jerusalem in the year 70 A.D.
The stories are set out in around 10 minute segments and the DVD has a running time of approximately 40 minutes.
